Senior Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Build security-focused technical solutions with high regard for code quality, architecture, and performance.
• Monitor, detect, respond to, and manage security incidents to ensure information system integrity.
• Drive technical solutions for detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Scale up and build a world-class Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Investigate problems to their root cause through data exploration and threat hunting.
• Leverage Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure to tackle security challenges.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure systems remain secure and resilient around the clock.

What we're looking for

• Experience in detection engineering, threat hunting, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Expertise in Windows, MacOS, or Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with Elastic, EDR, SIEM, WAF, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to investigate problems to their root cause and perform data exploration.
• Availability to participate in on-call rotations.
• Experience with Python, Go, asynchronous message queues, and microservices architecture (preferred).
• Skills in designing, deploying, and maintaining clean RESTful APIs (preferred).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR and PCI-DSS (preferred).
