TL;DR · Senior Security Engineer, AI Enablement

The Senior Security Engineer, AI Enablement serves as the embedded security representative for the Falcon team, ensuring that AI products are built securely by design. This role involves owning the product's security architecture for agents, MCP integrations, and end-to-end identity systems rather than performing retrospective reviews. The engineer will collaborate daily with developers to define permission boundaries, harden identity models, and establish secure patterns for prompt handling and data flow. Key responsibilities include writing and reviewing production code, conducting threat modeling, and defining security requirements for agentic components. To succeed, the candidate must possess expertise in the Claude Agent SDK, MCP servers, and modern identity protocols like OAuth and OIDC. The role focuses on solving complex problems regarding agent-to-tool authentication and least-privilege credentialing within a multi-agent system to ensure robust enterprise AI security standards.

What you'll do

  • Design security architecture for agentic AI components, including MCP servers, tool integrations, and identity management.
  • Define permission boundaries, trust boundaries, and blast radii for all agent-to-tool and agent-to-agent interactions.
  • Write and review production code for security-critical components like authentication, permissioning, and agent orchestration.
  • Translate complex security requirements into actionable product decisions for the engineering team during sprint cycles.
  • Develop and maintain security requirements, configuration standards, and "secure-by-default" patterns for new features.
  • Conduct threat modeling and define safety guardrails for AI products before they are released.
  • Represent the product's security posture to the broader corporate cybersecurity organization and leadership.
  • Monitor agentic security research and real-world incidents to proactively mitigate emerging risks.

What we're looking for

  • Must have 6+ years of security engineering experience embedded within a software product or engineering team.
  • Must possess strong software engineering skills to read, write, and review production code.
  • Must have hands-on experience with agentic AI architectures, including MCP servers and the Claude Agent SDK.
  • Must have deep knowledge of identity and access concepts, including OAuth, OIDC, and least-privilege credential design.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to act as a technical peer to software engineers rather than just a reviewer.
  • Must possess excellent cross-functional communication skills to represent product architecture to the broader security organization.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
