Senior Quality Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Design comprehensive test strategies and detailed test plans for complex enterprise applications using TypeScript and Core Java.
• Develop and maintain robust automated test suites and reusable frameworks to improve test coverage and CI pipelines.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing cycles while documenting clear defect descriptions and actionable evidence.
• Analyze production incidents to identify patterns and propose targeted quality improvements and root cause fixes.
• Coordinate end-to-end test execution across multiple environments and communicate status updates and risk assessments to stakeholders.
• Drive data preparation activities by defining realistic test data sets and validating data integrity for business flows.
• Review technical designs and code changes from a testability perspective to identify risks early in the development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance to junior team members by reviewing test cases and promoting best practices in test design and defect management.

What we're looking for

• Possess extensive experience in Core Java based test automation and service validation.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in TypeScript for validating modern web interfaces and front-end behavior.
• Bring a solid background in advanced test design techniques including boundary analysis, equivalence partitioning, and risk-based testing.
• Apply deep understanding of defect management practices and test lifecycle tools to maintain accurate test artifacts and traceability.
• Utilize practical knowledge of merchandising processes such as product assortment, pricing, and inventory flows.
• Show proven capability in working within hybrid delivery models using modern application lifecycle tools.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate complex defects and isolate root causes.
• Apply experience gained over ten to fourteen years in structured testing environments.
