Lead Quality Engineer – Hybrid
As a Lead Quality Engineer within the Software Engineering Group, you will lead quality engineering and automation initiatives for enterprise digital marketing solutions. You will manage the full testing lifecycle by completing Jira stories, designing manual tests, and performing test automation and release sign-offs. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating delivery across onshore and offshore teams, guiding offshore quality engineers, and resolving defects, test data, and environment issues to remove delivery roadblocks. You will utilize Playwright to design scalable automation frameworks and implement continuous integration and continuous delivery adoption. The role requires expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and SAS Customer Relationship Management products. You will also apply AI-enabled approaches and generative AI tools to improve productivity and support quality engineering transformation.
Complete assigned Jira stories including manual test design, test automation, and release sign-off.
Guide offshore quality engineers to ensure deliverables meet agreed expectations and performance measures.
Follow up on defects, test data, and environment issues to remove delivery roadblocks.
Use AI-enabled approaches to improve productivity and support quality engineering transformation.
Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
Drive continuous integration and continuous delivery adoption to improve release quality.
Coordinate quality engineering delivery across onshore and offshore project teams.
What we're looking for
9+ years of experience delivering enterprise digital marketing solutions using Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and SAS CRM.
Experience leading quality engineering and automation transformation initiatives, including designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks with Playwright.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate quality engineering delivery across onshore and offshore groups.
Experience driving continuous integration and continuous delivery adoption and improving release quality.
Experience delivering business-critical programs aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations.
Two or more years of experience in the retail industry (preferred).
One or more years of hands-on experience using generative AI (preferred).
Experience applying AI tools to improve quality engineering productivity and transformation outcomes (preferred).
