What you'll do

Design and develop automated test scripts for UI and API testing using Playwright.
Execute manual and automated tests, validate defects, and provide final release sign-off.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery.
Modernize test automation frameworks to improve scalability, maintainability, and test coverage.
Perform database testing to validate data accuracy and application-to-database interactions.
Utilize AI and GenAI tools to improve testing productivity and accelerate delivery.
Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure deliverables meet requirements and timelines.
Track and resolve defects, test data dependencies, and environment issues to remove roadblocks.

What we're looking for

Proven experience in test automation and Quality Engineering with hands-on expertise in Playwright-based UI and API automation testing.
Hands-on experience with database testing, including validating data accuracy and application-to-database interactions.
Experience modernizing test automation frameworks to improve maintainability, scalability, and test coverage.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of quality governance, testing standards, test metrics, and reporting.
At least two years of experience working in the retail domain.
At least one year of hands-on experience using GenAI in Quality Engineering or software testing (preferred).
Experience applying AI-assisted testing approaches to improve productivity and delivery outcomes (preferred).
