As a Senior Production Software Engineer on the Imaging team, you will develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and quality while enhancing automation through cross-functional collaboration with production and software teams. Your daily responsibilities include designing and implementing hardware testing strategies, creating documentation for testing procedures, performing root cause analysis to triage issues, and leading system architecture designs for technical initiatives. You will work within a domain focused on advanced imaging systems that utilize computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data. To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in Python and possess familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking. Preferred skills include experience with SQL, C/C++, JavaScript, and Nix, along with a strong understanding of hardware-software integration and performance monitoring within high-volume manufacturing environments.
Develop product-agnostic software solutions to optimize production efficiency and quality.
Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools.
Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Python.
Experience driving strategic design of scalable system architecture.
Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (preferred).
Experience in hardware testing, automated test systems, and high-volume manufacturing (preferred); SQL/databases, C/C++, javascript, and nix (preferred).
