The Senior Product Owner leads the strategic direction and delivery of critical Order-to-Cash capabilities within the Accounts Receivable & Collections and Contract & Order Management domains. This role involves organizing and prioritizing work for Agile teams, translating business strategy into actionable product roadmaps, and managing backlogs to improve operational efficiency and financial outcomes. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining user stories, conducting customer research, and performing trade-off analyses to ensure measurable business value. The position requires expertise in SAP Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), RightAngle, and custom .NET applications. The role solves complex business problems by modernizing solutions for accurate billing, cash application, dispute resolution, and the maintenance of commercial details across the order lifecycle within the energy, manufacturing, or transportation industries.
Translate business strategy into actionable product roadmaps and prioritize the short-term feature backlog.
Define user stories and acceptance criteria to communicate stakeholder needs to the development team.
Manage the delivery of Order-to-Cash capabilities, including Accounts Receivable and Contract Management.
Optimize and modernize solutions leveraging SAP FI-AR, SAP SD, RightAngle, and custom .NET applications.
Conduct customer research and product discovery to synthesize market factors into a cohesive strategy.
Analyze quantitative data to evaluate the viability of various product initiatives.
Resolve development issues and perform trade-off analyses to ensure the team meets deliverable commitments.
What we're looking for
5+ years of relevant experience required.
Experience supporting Order-to-Cash business capabilities including Accounts Receivable, Collections, Contract Management, or Order Management required.
Experience working in Agile environments as a Product Owner or Product Manager required.
