The Senior Product Owner & Delivery Lead, Banking Technology will guide banking software initiatives from discovery through delivery. Working within the banking technology team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements. You will define product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria while translating business needs into functional and technical requirements for architects, developers, and quality assurance teams. Key responsibilities include coordinating project planning, sprint readiness, and risk tracking across distributed teams. You will utilize artificial intelligence-enabled tools, Jira, and Confluence to manage data flows, system integrations, and application programming interfaces. This role solves complex technical problems by delivering scalable technology solutions for commercial banking, treasury management, payments, and digital banking services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and business stakeholders during product discovery and delivery.
Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements for banking software initiatives.
Define and maintain product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for architects, developers, and QA teams.
Evaluate software architecture, APIs, system integrations, data flows, and security considerations with technical teams.
Coordinate project planning, sprint readiness, risk tracking, and dependency management across distributed teams.
Use artificial intelligence-enabled tools to improve analysis, planning, and team productivity.
What we're looking for
6+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, project management, or software delivery for enterprise software initiatives.
6+ years of experience gathering requirements, managing stakeholder priorities, and translating business needs into user stories and delivery documentation.
6+ years of experience working with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle with architects, developers, and QA teams.
6+ years of experience supporting customer-facing technology initiatives with external stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
6+ years of experience working with application programming interfaces, system integrations, data flows, or enterprise software solutions.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
Experience in commercial banking, payments, or financial services (preferred).
