Senior Product Data Analyst

What you'll do

• Build production-quality dbt models in BigQuery to create reusable product marts and metric foundations.
• Design high-quality data tables by defining grain, keys, join logic, and performance requirements before implementation.
• Write clean, maintainable code using version control, automated tests, and peer review processes.
• Convert recurring manual reports into durable, self-service data products and shared definitions.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define event schemas, data contracts, and monitoring.
• Manage domain data quality by identifying and fixing root causes of discrepancies in data lineage.
• Analyze user journeys, funnels, cohorts, and retention to provide actionable product recommendations.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring the accuracy and security of generated code.

What we're looking for

• Advanced SQL skills with experience in BigQuery or other cloud warehouses including complex transformations and performance trade-offs.
• Strong modeling judgment regarding grain, cardinality, dimensional models, deduplication, and metric risks.
• Hands-on dbt or similar experience including modular design, testing, documentation, and version control.
• Ability to code in Python to inspect data, automate workflows, use APIs, or build analytical tools.
• Practical product-analytics judgment across funnels, cohorts, retention, adoption, and segmentation.
• Strong delivery instinct to navigate ambiguity, manage shifting priorities, and communicate technical designs to stakeholders.
• Experience with orchestration, semantic layers, data contracts, lineage, observability, or near-real-time data (preferred).
• Experience with experimentation, causal inference, advanced statistics, B2B SaaS, adtech, or BI tools like Tableau (preferred).
