What you'll do

Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to healthcare claims and structured data to build new metrics and methodologies.
Transform public financial data into clear signals to describe the financial health of healthcare organizations.
Build entity resolution and record-linkage models across health systems, providers, employers, and payers.
Develop affiliation and network mapping to infer how organizations and people connect and flow.
Infer organizational structures and build decision-maker maps from qualitative signals like titles and roles.
Design data-sourcing methodologies to evaluate and combine heterogeneous inputs into accurate account signals.
Build models for account targeting and segmentation using deciling, patient-volume, and disease-state signals.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to move solutions from prototype to production.

What we're looking for

5+ years of hands-on data science and statistics experience.
5+ years of experience working with healthcare data and the US healthcare system.
Experience with healthcare claims data (medical and/or pharmacy) and derived metrics.
Experience with healthcare organizational data including HCO/HCP, IDN, GPO, and payer data.
Experience developing clinical ontologies or standardized healthcare data models.
Experience with entity resolution, record linkage, or fuzzy matching on real-world, imperfect data.
Track record of inferring structure from noisy data through cleansing, experiment design, and scaling.
M.S. in Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline (preferred).
