Senior Data Analyst

What you'll do

• Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to healthcare claims data to build new metrics and clinical ontologies.
• Transform public financial data into clear signals regarding the financial health of healthcare organizations.
• Build entity resolution and record-linkage models across various health systems, providers, and payers.
• Develop affiliation and network mapping to infer how organizations and people connect and influence one another.
• Infer organizational structures from qualitative signals to build decision-maker maps and org charts.
• Design data-sourcing methodologies to evaluate and combine heterogeneous inputs into accurate account signals.
• Build models for account targeting, segmentation, and identifying patient-volume or disease-state signals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to move solutions from prototype to production and iterate on features.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5+ years of hands-on data science and statistics experience.
• Must have 5+ years of experience working with the US healthcare system and healthcare data.
• Experience with medical or pharmacy claims data and derived metrics is required.
• Experience with healthcare organizational data including HCO, HCP, IDN, GPO, and payer entities is required.
• Experience developing clinical ontologies or standardized healthcare data models is required.
• Experience with entity resolution, record linkage, or fuzzy matching on imperfect data is required.
• Proven ability to infer structure from noisy data through cleansing, experiment design, and scaling.
• An M.S. in Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline is preferred.
