Senior Principal Research Scientist

What you'll do

• Support API projects through all phases of development, commercialization, and product life cycle management.
• Develop and implement robust process steps and control strategies to scale products from lab to manufacturing.
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of processes for peptides, new modalities, and small molecules.
• Mentor, guide, and supervise scientific personnel while sharing expert knowledge with peers and senior management.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop fallback strategies to ensure the quality of major project plans.
• Identify emerging scientific trends and integrate them into functional short-term objectives.
• Resolve technical manufacturing issues in a commercial setting and manage continuous improvement activities.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a science field with 18 years of related work experience.
• Master's degree or PharmD in a science field with 16 years of related work experience.
• PhD in a science-related field with 10 years of related work experience.
• Experience in process development and technical support of commercial processes.
• Preferred experience in peptide processing related technologies.
• Proven ability to innovate with a history of new or improved product releases.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others across various scientific disciplines.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
