  • Lead the mechanical architecture and technical strategy for next-generation desktop and AI PC platforms.
  • Drive advanced technology investigations, assessments, and prototype development to align with long-term platform strategy.
  • Identify and resolve technical risks to maintain clear paths to productization for commercial and consumer lines.
  • Use data and engineering insights to improve development predictability and execution efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority in cross-functional forums to influence product strategy and design direction.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent by providing technical guidance and career development support.

What we're looking for

  • Deep expertise in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, system shock and vibration requirements, and thermal design.
  • Strong understanding of system-level trade-offs across electrical, mechanical, thermal, shock/vibration, and reliability domains.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex programs to completion.
  • Recent experience in mechanical part and product design.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and fostering team development.
  • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (preferred).
