Senior & Principal Applied Scientists

What you'll do

• Translate business and product requirements into actionable AI projects in collaboration with product managers.
• Develop healthcare and enterprise features using generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Design and review the architecture for data, model training, and evaluation of AI solutions.
• Drive projects from research proof-of-concepts to full production across multinational teams.
• Write production-ready code while advocating for high engineering standards and best practices.
• Lead and mentor other applied scientists within the organization.
• Identify and mitigate risks at the intersection of business goals and engineering execution.

What we're looking for

• Experience in designing and implementing scalable AI models for production is required.
• Deep technical understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning architectures like Transformers, training methods, and optimizers is required.
• Practical experience with LLM and generative AI technologies including fine-tuning and advanced prompt engineering is required.
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, VectorStores, and MLOps tools is required.
• Proven experience in designing data collection/annotation solutions and systematic evaluation for production systems is required.
• A strong publication record in top-tier journals or conferences as a lead author or reviewer is required.
• Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring early-career scientists is required.
• A PhD with 1+ years of experience or a Bachelor's/Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
