What you'll do

Design, develop, and enhance backend services and customer-facing features for a next-generation support chat platform.
Develop APIs, data models, and service integrations to support AI-assisted experiences like knowledge retrieval and conversation summarization.
Own specific platform components and API contracts while participating in technical design, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
Implement targeted resilience, capacity patterns, and performance optimization strategies to ensure system scalability.
Conduct deep debugging and troubleshooting to identify and fix moderately complex software issues and API integration errors.
Execute software testing, quality assurance processes, and observability to ensure production readiness and service reliability.
Implement secure coding practices and manage CI/CD, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation for all services.
Provide technical leadership by mentoring others and translating business requirements into practical software solutions.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
3 to 5+ years of experience is required.
Proficiency in Java is required.
Experience in back end programming languages is required.
Ability to design, develop, and enhance backend services and customer-facing features is required.
Ability to develop APIs, data models, and service integrations for AI-assisted experiences is required.
