The role requires proficiency in Splunk, Python, and incident management tools like ServiceNow and Jira. You will also manage distributed systems, APIs, and microservices while ensuring high availability for retail operations. Key technical focus areas include networking fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, and data validation between SAP and downstream retail systems.

What you'll do

  • Build and extend GenAI agents and automation to scale incident detection, triage, and resolution.
  • Resolve complex production incidents across critical systems like Point of Sale, Financial Services, and Carrier Services.
  • Lead root cause analysis using application logs, telemetry, observability platforms, and ML-driven insights.
  • Develop technical specifications and documentation for automation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering and business teams to improve product delivery and support strategies for new launches.
  • Coordinate with a globally distributed team of consultants to ensure consistent execution of support functions.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 coverage for critical applications and services.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting critical, customer-facing systems in a high-volume production environment.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with incident management platforms and issue tracking tools.
  • 3+ years of practical experience with Splunk for dashboard creation, SPL querying, and alert configuration.
  • 3+ years of experience performing structured root cause analysis using logs, telemetry, and distributed traces in multi-system environments.
  • Experience building and orchestrating agentic workflows with LLM-based automation or AI-augmented operational tooling.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for log analysis and automating operational workflows.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/TLS, and load balancing.
