Senior Networking Professional Services Engineer

What you'll do

• Support MX and Routing Director platforms in a large-scale service provider environment.
• Plan network deployments and develop detailed implementation plans for customers.
• Perform testing of network solutions and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues and technical resolutions.
• Open and track JTAC cases while providing requested data and advanced troubleshooting.
• Deliver clearly written documentation, case status updates, and root cause analyses.
• Support informal and formal technology briefings and training sessions.

What we're looking for

• US Citizenship is required.
• Must possess a Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
• Deep understanding of routing and switching technologies including EVPN, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, and MPLS TE.
• Experience in engineering design, operations, and support within a large-scale ISP environment.
• Mastery of topologies and methodologies for WAN transport methods.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and network problems and manage JTAC cases through to resolution.
• Juniper and/or other vendor certifications (preferred).
• Automation and DevOps knowledge including Python, Ansible, and various API access methods (preferred).
