What you'll do

Perform operations and maintenance of a data center network.
Configure and manage routing and switching technologies including EVPN, OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
Support and maintain Juniper products including QFX, MX, EX, and SRX series.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and manage JTAC cases through to resolution.
Deliver root cause analysis and provide regular case status updates to stakeholders.
Conduct formal and informal technology briefings and training sessions.
Utilize automation tools like Python, Ansible, and REST APIs to manage network tasks.

What we're looking for

US Citizenship is required.
Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
Must be able to work on-site at a customer location in the Columbia/Ft. Meade area.
Must have a deep understanding of routing and switching technologies including EVPN, Multicast, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, and MPLS TE.
Must be able to perform operations and maintenance of a data center network.
Engineering Design/Architecture, Operational, and Support experience in a medium to large scale data center network (preferred).
Juniper and/or other vendor certifications (preferred).
Automation and DevOps knowledge, including Python, Ansible, and various API methods (preferred).
