Senior Network Planning Engineer, Infrastructure Services

What you'll do

• Convert architectural concepts and traffic demands into actionable, hop-level deployment packages for IP and Optical domains.
• Build formal business cases and TCO models to secure funding for fiber, submarine systems, and colocation facilities.
• Develop predictive analytics models to forecast bandwidth demand, interface growth, and router capacity requirements.
• Validate datacenter site readiness including space, power availability, cabling, and route diversity.
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle from procurement and ordering through to in-service handover.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for all circuit assets across global carrier and internal management platforms.
• Engage with global telecommunications providers to manage contract negotiations, service level agreements, and delivery tracking.

What we're looking for

• Experience in network planning, procurement, or infrastructure operations with ownership of capacity planning and provisioning workflows.
• Strong knowledge of IP and Optical network planning including Layer 1–3 infrastructure, DWDM/OTN transport, and traffic engineering.
• Experience building business cases, TCO models, and investment justifications for Dark Fiber, Submarine systems, and datacenter colocation.
• Deep technical understanding of core and edge datacenter facility environments, including space, power redundancy, and cabling topologies.
• Experience with predictive analytics, capacity forecasting models, and inventory management systems using telemetry data.
• Strong project management skills to lead complex, multi-region infrastructure programs from scoping through in-service delivery.
• Ability to communicate technical, financial, and schedule status to engineering, operations, and executive leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience (preferred); PMP certification or advanced data tools (preferred).
