Senior Network Hardware Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform system-level validation of networking hardware including Ethernet switches, optical interconnects, and integrated systems.
• Execute qualification plans for high-speed data transmission technologies ranging from 10G to 1.6T.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues such as BER failures, link instability, and signal integrity challenges.
• Manage lab operations, including infrastructure maintenance, inventory management, and vendor relations.
• Analyze complex test data to produce technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Develop automated testing frameworks and improve validation methodologies to reduce qualification cycle times.
• Conduct interoperability testing across various vendors and software versions while triaging defects.
• Perform root cause analysis on field returns and develop corrective actions for product improvements.

What we're looking for

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in the relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in optical transceiver testing or quality assurance is required.
• Experience using optical test equipment including OSA, BERT, and optical power meters is required.
• Experience validating high-speed data transmission technologies from 10G to 1.6T is required.
• Experience validating networking hardware such as Ethernet switches and other high-speed platforms is required.
• Hands-on experience testing and debugging optical modules, transceivers, and fiber-optic connections is required.
• Experience developing test automation and scalable validation frameworks is required.
