TL;DR · Senior Network Engineer, GPU Cluster Networking

Senior Network Engineer – GPU Cluster Networking joins the IT System Engineering team to manage the architecture, deployment, and operation of high-performance backend networks for large-scale AMD Instinct GPU clusters. This role involves owning the network path from GPU servers through data center switching fabrics to ensure reliable performance for distributed AI training, large language models, and HPC workloads. The engineer will design and optimize high-speed Ethernet fabrics using RoCEv2, 100/200/400 GbE technologies, and various topologies like Clos or fat-tree. Key technical requirements include expertise in RDMA, BGP, ECMP, EVPN, VXLAN, and Linux networking. The role also involves working with ROCm, RCCL, SLURM, Kubernetes, and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Candidates must navigate complex hardware environments involving PCIe, NUMA topology, and Juniper Junos OS to eliminate network bottlenecks in communication-intensive distributed computing environments.
