What you'll do

Design and deploy large-scale network fabrics, backbone systems, and fiber metro networks for cloud infrastructure.
Develop Python scripts and automation modules to streamline repetitive tasks and manage production environments.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations and provide escalation support for complex network events.
Build and maintain telemetry systems, dashboards, and alerting mechanisms to monitor network health and performance.
Conduct hardware validation, firmware updates, and vendor coordination to ensure infrastructure reliability.
Create test cases and strategies to validate network integrity before production deployment.
Mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert for network automation projects.
Analyze capacity metrics such as latency and throughput to plan and execute network scaling initiatives.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Candidates should have 3 to 5+ years of experience in large ISP or cloud provider environments.
Experience with commodity Ethernet hardware such as Broadcom and Mellanox is required.
Deep knowledge of routing and transport protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and MPLS is required.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation is required.
Experience with Git version control and Linux systems is required.
Familiarity with network modeling (YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF) and telemetry systems is required.
Knowledge of internet peering, inter-domain networking, and VPN/SSL technologies is required.
