The Senior MGX Ecosystem Engineer joins the team to grow the MGX hardware ecosystem by collaborating with industry partners, suppliers, OEMs, and technology providers. This role serves as the primary technical interface for partners, driving innovation by enabling the development of high-performance hardware solutions based on MGX platform specifications. Key responsibilities include leading technical discussions, product reviews, and ecosystem readiness assessments while providing system-level engineering expertise across electrical, mechanical, and thermal domains. The position involves supporting the integration of compute, networking, power delivery, cooling, and mechanical subsystems. Candidates must possess skills in hardware platform engineering, systems engineering, and technical partner management. Required competencies include knowledge of server, data center, AI infrastructure, and networking platforms, alongside expertise in hardware development lifecycles and validation strategies.
Serve as the primary technical interface for MGX partners, including OEMs, ODMs, and component suppliers.
Enable partners to develop high-performance hardware solutions based on MGX platform specifications.
Lead technical discussions, product reviews, and ecosystem readiness assessments.
Provide system-level engineering expertise across electrical, mechanical, and thermal domains.
Support the integration of compute, networking, power delivery, cooling, and mechanical subsystems.
Define and execute validation strategies for ecosystem hardware solutions.
Deliver technical training, workshops, and onboarding programs for ecosystem partners.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of demonstrated ability in hardware platform engineering, systems engineering, ecosystem engineering, or technical partner management.
Solid knowledge of server, data center, AI infrastructure, networking, storage, or high-performance computing platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in at least two of Electrical, Mechanical, or Thermal engineering, with working knowledge of all three.
Solid grasp of the hardware development lifecycle from initial concept through to mass production.
Excellent communication and partner management skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–40%.
Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (preferred).
Experience with AI server platforms, GPU-based systems, high-density compute infrastructure, or hyperscale data center deployments (preferred).
Familiarity with thermal simulation tools, CAD platforms, and hardware validation methodologies (preferred).
Experience with liquid cooling technologies and rack-level cooling architectures (preferred).
Understanding of industry standards and certifications related to server and data center infrastructure (preferred).
