What you'll do

Take end-to-end technical ownership of mechatronic deliverables through the V-model.
Drive the feasibility, specification, design, and validation of mechatronic modules.
Develop new mechatronic design concepts and advanced control techniques to improve performance and cost.
Decompose complex problems into actionable proposals while considering design trade-offs and boundary conditions.
Perform root cause analysis and proactively address technical risks.
Interface with multiple business sectors to drive design alignment and system integration.
Mentor junior engineers and guide the work of peers.

What we're looking for

BS or BE degree in a relevant technical field required.
MS or PhD preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience required.
Experience with mechatronic systems and motion control preferred.
Proficiency in Control Theory, including PID, feedback/feedforward control, and linear systems theory.
Proficiency in MATLAB for programming, data analysis, modeling, and simulation.
Experience in systems engineering, including requirements engineering, verification, and root cause analysis.
Legal authorization to access controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations.
