What you'll do

Lead the mechanical design of automated manufacturing equipment from initial concept through commissioning.
Develop system-level designs, simulations, and engineering studies to de-risk concepts and define requirements.
Perform reach studies and develop system architectures for robotic systems and equipment.
Design and integrate fixtures, assembly tooling, and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for industrial robots.
Integrate mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power systems into manufacturing machinery.
Design and integrate safety components including guarding, light curtains, and interlocks.
Create detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Oversee prototype fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting during production rollout.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar field.
8+ years of experience in mechanical design with a focus on automation, machinery, or robotics.
Strong 3D CAD capability in NX.
Proficiency in 2D CAD using AutoCAD (preferred).
Deep understanding of automation components including linear/rotary actuators, servo motors, VFDs, gears, bearings, and pneumatics.
Experience with fabrication processes such as machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
Ability to perform mechanical calculations for statics, dynamics, and material selection.
Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.
