As a Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Anduril Expeditionary Systems team, you will join the Connected Warfare group to develop large form factor products that provide critical edge compute and communications capabilities for front-line soldiers. You will own hardware from initial concept through real-world use, designing novel systems from the ground up to survive harsh battlefield conditions. Your daily work involves collaborating with customers to address specific challenges, building prototypes and first articles, and traveling to exercises to gather warfighter feedback. What we're looking for
Must be a U.S. Person due to export control requirements.
BS, M.Eng, MS, or PhD in an engineering field.
8+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
Demonstrated ability to design, prototype, and ship hardware.
High competence with and fluid use of engineering first principles.
Proficiency in CAD platforms and the ability to create high-quality engineering drawings.
Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
Experience in NX/Teamcenter, integrating electronics into mechanical designs, manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, composites, 3D printing), and analysis methods in ANSYS (preferred); Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain one (preferred).
