As a Senior Managing SAP Development Architect, you will join the IBM Consulting team to define overall SAP technical architecture and govern development standards. You will also drive innovation by evaluating technologies like SAP BTP, AI capabilities, and Clean Core strategies to solve complex integration challenges across ERP, CRM, and data platforms while ensuring compliance with SOX, GxP, and GDPR standards.

What you'll do

  • Define overall SAP technical architecture, development frameworks, and coding standards.
  • Lead and provide technical direction to SAP development teams across ABAP, Fiori, BTP, and Integration Suite.
  • Oversee project management tasks including estimation, resource allocation, and execution of the development lifecycle.
  • Design integration architectures between SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, middleware, and cloud technologies.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with security standards, audit requirements, and organizational quality metrics.
  • Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and present architectural decisions to executive stakeholders.
  • Develop modernization strategies by evaluating emerging technologies like AI, Joule, and Clean Core principles.

What we're looking for

  • Proficiency in ABAP, ABAP Cloud, SAP BTP, and Fiori/UI5.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Enterprise Integration.
  • Ability to provide agile delivery leadership and executive communication for stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Architecture (preferred).
  • Experience with SAP Integration Suite/CPI (preferred).
  • Understanding of SAP Security concepts (preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree.
