Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, Search & AI Foundations

What you'll do

• Lead AI Platforms initiatives spanning Search Relevance, Machine Learning Infrastructure, and Search Knowledge Infrastructure.
• Shape and influence the technical direction of projects to meet stakeholder needs and high-quality standards.
• Rapidly prototype and validate project ideas through iterative development cycles based on data insights.
• Define and secure stakeholder alignment on clear, measurable success criteria for AI initiatives.
• Assess risks and opportunities regularly to devise proactive mitigation strategies and maintain project momentum.
• Present outcomes, trade-offs, and emerging opportunities clearly to senior leadership.
• Identify and remove roadblocks while managing dependencies across multiple engineering and product teams.
• Drive requirements and leverage AI/ML expertise to resolve strategic challenges aligned with business goals.

What we're looking for

• 13+ years of experience in a technical program management function.
• At least 8 years of experience managing a team of TPMs.
• Demonstrated experience in search relevance, natural language search, and recommendation systems.
• Experience with ML models, LLMs, LRMs, feature development, model testing, and resource management.
• Experience with A/B testing, incremental delivery, and deployment.
• Proven ability to work through ambiguity to frame challenges and drive initiatives to completion.
• Excellent written and oral business communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience applying GenAI/LLM technologies on search is a plus (preferred).
