Senior Manager, Software Engineering

What you'll do

• Oversee multiple engineering teams to ensure they have the capacity to deliver the product roadmap.
• Manage team costs, staffing levels, and resource allocation while ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Provide technical guidance on design patterns and oversee the development of software components through production.
• Drive the identification, enhancement, and automation of applications and systems.
• Enforce testing policies and procedures to ensure all quality standards are met.
• Manage employee performance, training, and selection to meet department objectives and Service Level Agreements.
• Mature the Agile software development lifecycle by implementing industry best practices and DevOps principles.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Engineering department and other internal company departments.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must possess eligibility to work in the United States for any employer at the date of hire.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is typically required.
• Three or more years of experience managing full stack development, system automation, and scripting are required.
• Experience with Java, Spring, AWS Cloud, VMWare, and related cloud technologies is required.
• Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery is required.
• Demonstrated experience with state-of-the-art technology, architecture, design concepts, operating systems, database systems, networking, and security is required.
• Proven experience in Agile and DevOps software development methodologies and practices is required.
• Proven prior leadership experience and skills in leading DevOps teams across an organization are required.
