Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Authentication Platform

What you'll do

• Lead the strategy and execution for core authentication services including Kerberos, LDAP, and FIDO2 systems.
• Ensure high availability and horizontal scalability of identity services across diverse production environments.
• Partner with security architects to implement Zero Trust principles and enforce least privilege access.
• Coach engineers on system design and architecture while integrating AI tools into the development lifecycle.
• Audit AI-generated code for logic flaws, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues to maintain architectural integrity.
• Manage a team of specialists responsible for maintaining critical identity and access management infrastructure.
• Oversee the reliability of foundational authentication dependencies across the global production fleet.

What we're looking for

• You must have 13+ years of software engineering experience.
• You must have 3-5 years of experience leading teams in high-pressure, infrastructure-centric environments.
• You must have proven expertise in Kerberos and identity protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and LDAP.
• You must have experience managing high-availability systems in public cloud (AWS/GCP) or hybrid environments.
• You must be proficient in Java, Go, or C# with experience in Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• You must have hands-on proficiency with AI development tools to evaluate architectural integrity and manage AI-generated output.
• You must be able to assess candidates on prompt engineering, evaluating AI outputs, and orchestrating multi-agent workflows.
• Experience with enterprise IdP/MFA platforms, HSMs, PKI, or compliance standards like PCI, SOC2, or HIPAA is preferred.
