The Senior Manager, Network Security Engineering leads a team of security architects and engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and operating enterprise network security capabilities. This role involves translating risk, compliance, and business requirements into scalable architectures across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. The manager will oversee the lifecycle management of technologies including next-generation firewalls, Zscaler, Network Access Control, IDS/IPS, and SD-WAN for both IT and OT networks. Key responsibilities include developing a multi-year security roadmap, integrating Zero Trust principles, and driving network automation initiatives. Candidates must possess expertise in routing, switching, wireless, and identity-based access controls while ensuring compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network security architects and engineers while managing their performance goals.
Develop and communicate a multi-year network security strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise business objectives.
Translate complex business requirements and risk priorities into technical architecture decisions and engineering execution plans.
Design and implement secure network architectures using Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, and identity-based access across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Oversee the deployment and lifecycle management of advanced security technologies like firewalls, Zscaler, and SD-WAN.
Drive network automation initiatives to improve consistency and accelerate the delivery of infrastructure changes.
Lead troubleshooting for complex, escalated network issues to ensure rapid resolution of outages and performance bottlenecks.
Ensure all network operations comply with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and internal cybersecurity policies.
What we're looking for
Minimum Master's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience with relevant certifications.
At least 9 years of progressive network security engineering experience.
At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience leading technical teams.
Expertise in enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, wireless, and next-generation firewalls.
Experience implementing cybersecurity frameworks and controls for hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical architecture and engineering roadmaps.
Executive-level communication skills to present complex technical risks in clear business terms to senior leadership.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PCNSE, ZCCP, CCSP, or Azure/AWS Security certifications (preferred).
