The Senior Manager, IT Manufacturing Site Lead serves as a strategic technology partner for a drug substance manufacturing site. Translate site priorities and operational challenges into a multi-year business-led technology roadmap.
Serve as the primary IT point of contact and strategic technology partner for site leadership.
Lead the planning, deployment, and ongoing support of manufacturing site technology solutions.
Drive digital transformation through automation, MES, IIoT, and manufacturing data analytics.
Manage the site IT budget, including operating costs, total cost of ownership, and cost optimization.
Oversee end-to-end operational performance, including incident management, root cause analysis, and service governance.
Lead and develop internal IT team members and external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Ensure all technology solutions comply with cybersecurity, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
10 years of related experience in IT.
Proven experience leading technology delivery and support in a regulated manufacturing, operations, or industrial environment.
Demonstrated strength in financial management, including budgeting, cost optimization, and total cost of ownership.
Proven people management experience, including team leadership, coaching, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
Experience with project management, Agile, Lean, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer, or other regulated manufacturing environments (preferred).
Experience or familiarity with digital manufacturing, automation, MES, IIoT, LIMS, Historian, PAT, OT, and manufacturing data and analytics (preferred).
