Required skills include experience with AWS or Azure, Python or TypeScript, and API-based integration. You will build agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation solutions while maintaining acceptable use policies and data classification rules to solve complex technical problems in regulated environments.

What you'll do

  • Translate enterprise AI strategy into a roadmap with specific milestones, resourcing, and success metrics.
  • Own the lifecycle management and operations for LLM chat services, AI coding assistants, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Lead the development of MCP servers and enterprise integrations for agentic workflows and reusable architectures.
  • Ensure all AI deployments comply with ITAR, FedRAMP High, CMMC, and other regulatory security requirements.
  • Hire, develop, and manage a team of technical professionals while overseeing contractor workloads and staffing plans.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison with AI vendors and cloud providers to manage roadmaps and contracts.
  • Report adoption, productivity, cost, and risk metrics to executive stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with at least 12 years of related experience.
  • Graduate degree with at least 10 years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of people leadership or technical team lead experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain a required security clearance.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating enterprise generative AI or LLM capabilities (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS or Azure, preferably in government cloud regions (preferred).
  • ITAR, FedRAMP High, and CMMC requirements.
