What you'll do

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a globally distributed team of senior research engineers.

  • Represent the team externally by speaking at conferences and publishing research in Elastic Security Labs.

What we're looking for

  • Experience managing senior technical individual contributors on globally distributed teams.
  • Substantial hands-on experience as a security researcher analyzing TTPs and building protections at scale.
  • Deep knowledge of operating system internals in both kernel and user mode, specifically for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Hands-on experience in reverse engineering and malware analysis to evaluate research findings and threats.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools to accelerate feature development and debug systems.
  • Export controls.
