What you'll do

  • Manage product ownership by defining vision, strategy, roadmaps, and backlogs while balancing risk and technical constraints.
  • Direct comprehensive testing and quality assurance activities including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Oversee tactical reporting to provide accurate operational data for leadership decision-making and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead data integrity initiatives to ensure encounter data is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
  • Partner with market leaders to monitor performance results and implement corrective action plans for improved outcomes.
  • Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into actionable technical capabilities and reporting requirements.
  • Manage portfolio governance, including program increment planning, risk mitigation, and production stabilization.
  • Coach and develop a cross-functional team of product owners, project managers, analysts, and testers.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 7 or more years of healthcare experience.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience building accountable, high-performing teams through coaching and development.
  • 8 or more years of experience in product ownership, project management, business analysis, technology delivery, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years leading complex enterprise initiatives, multiple Agile teams, or a product portfolio.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe practices with experience using Rally, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
  • Prior experience supporting Medicaid and Medicare programs, including healthcare payer operations, encounter data, or regulatory reporting.
  • Master's degree (preferred); SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMP, or comparable certification (preferred).
