What you'll do

Lead the design, build, testing, and deployment of secure, maintainable applications and workflow automations.
Set and enforce team standards for source control, code review, CI/CD, automated testing, and security.
Assess the custom application portfolio to decide whether to re-platform, replace, or retire each tool.
Integrate AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and GitHub Copilot into the team's daily workflow.
Prioritize and forecast development requests by working with Operational Capabilities leadership and delivery management.
Serve as the technical owner for vendor products, including e-signature, document management, and event management systems.
Hire, coach, and manage a team of developers and analysts while overseeing their technical upskilling.
Translate vague business needs into clear technical requirements for partners and senior leadership.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Eight or more years of professional software development experience building web applications and workflow automation.
Three or more years of experience leading a development team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
Proficiency in modern web development including React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
Experience with relational and cloud data stores, GitHub workflows, CI/CD, and identity patterns like SSO and OAuth.
Experience with AWS, Google Workspace (Apps Script, Workspace APIs), or Google Cloud serverless.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools with a team to review, test, and secure produced code.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform, SharePoint, or Dataverse (preferred); experience running agile processes (preferred).
