Senior Manager Audio Engineering Team

What you'll do

• Design and lead the development of audio hardware and software solutions for personal systems products.
• Establish long-term audio strategies, visions, and priorities for PCs, docks, and display products.
• Manage project headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing engineering programs.
• Communicate program status and escalate issues to marketing, supply chain, and executive leadership.
• Manage relationships with outsourced partners to ensure product quality, schedules, and cost compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities aligned with business goals.
• Perform talent management including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development for the engineering team.

What we're looking for

• A four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required, or commensurate work experience.
• Candidates typically need 10+ years of job-related experience.
• Candidates typically need 8-10 years of management experience.
• Experience in electrical design, tools, software packages, or electronic hardware architecture is preferred.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, MATLAB, and hardware design tools is required.
• Expertise in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, FPGA, and Systems Design is required.
• Skills in debugging, schematic capture, simulations, and new product development are required.
• Demonstrated ability in team management, strategic thinking, and cross-organizational collaboration is required.
