What you'll do

  • Lead a software development team to design, build, and deploy features for onboarding new GPU systems and racks.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into engineering tasks, project roadmaps, and priority tradeoffs for GPU health monitoring and repair.
  • Deliver automated fault detection and repair recipes for new GPU systems while managing risks and removing blockers.
  • Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback, performance management, and clear expectation setting.
  • Forecast staffing needs and partner with recruiting to hire high-quality engineering talent.
  • Identify recurring delivery bottlenecks and simplify workflows to improve cross-team planning and coordination.
  • Sustainably scale systems through the development of tooling and automation.

What we're looking for

  • Must have 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly-available distributed systems.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • Must have a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in cloud engineering, networking, and distributed systems.
  • Must have experience with infrastructure system software and large infrastructure.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex information to senior leadership.
  • Must have the ability to identify and recruit strong engineering talent.
