What you'll do

  • Design and implement ML models to enhance user interaction predictions and ad performance metrics.
  • Develop and optimize large-scale retrieval algorithms using both classical IR and deep learning techniques.
  • Contribute to advanced modeling areas like contextual bandits, multi-task learning, and LLM-based ranking signals.
  • Identify new data signals in distributed datasets to improve model accuracy and robustness at scale.
  • Participate in designing and executing experiments to validate novel ML architectures and strategies.
  • Collaborate on scaling machine learning models to production environments across Apple’s platforms.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of machine learning experience at scale, preferably in ad tech or web-scale systems
  • Expertise in neural network architectures like Transformers, DNNs, RNNs using TensorFlow, PyTorch
  • Proficiency in reinforcement learning and bandit-based optimization techniques
  • Experience with high-volume data pipelines and A/B testing infrastructure
  • Strong Python skills and familiarity with SQL, Scala, or Java for production environments
