Senior Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, train, and optimize machine learning models for LiDAR/camera perception and multi-sensor fusion.
• Develop and coordinate end-to-end ML workflows including data pipelines, training, metrics, and performance reporting.
• Transition machine learning models from initial experimentation to production-level code on the NVIDIA DRIVE platform.
• Write highly efficient product code in C++ for autonomous vehicle systems.
• Implement advanced model architectures like Transformers for visual recognition tasks.
• Optimize deep learning models for real-time inference on embedded and automotive platforms using TensorRT.
• Incorporate the latest machine learning research to improve overall platform performance.

What we're looking for

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant proven industry experience applying machine learning to address real-world problems.
• Strong C++ and Python programming and debugging skills for large, complex systems.
• Deep practical experience with LiDAR/camera perception and multi-sensor fusion in automotive or related fields.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow and a strong understanding of ML mathematical foundations.
• Proven track record of developing and shipping deep learning models into production autonomous vehicle stacks or robotics products.
• Experience with model optimization for real-time inference on embedded or automotive platforms using TensorRT.
• Familiarity with modern network architectures like Transformers applied to visual recognition tasks.
