Senior Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Research and develop next-generation algorithms for product search, recommendation systems, and personalization.
• Develop and deploy production-ready machine learning solutions from initial concept to deployment.
• Build and optimize large-scale machine learning systems and infrastructure.
• Create data processing pipelines using big data technologies like Spark and SQL.
• Implement Generative AI features including RAG-based models and transformer architectures.
• Improve internal machine learning tooling and infrastructure for the Online Retail Decision Automation team.
• Mentor junior machine learning engineers to ensure best practices are followed.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience building high throughput scalable applications or machine learning models.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience building distributed systems and large scale machine learning systems.
• Experience with big data technologies including Spark, SQL, Snowflake, or Hadoop.
• Experience with data processing pipelines.
• Knowledge of Recommender Systems, Personalization, Search, Computational Advertising, or Natural Language Processing.
• Familiarity with Deep Learning, Bandits, Probabilistic Graphical Models, Reinforcement Learning, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
