Senior Lead Software Engineer, Security Platforms

What you'll do

• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors on a regular basis.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and conduct thorough code reviews and debugging.
• Drive the adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
• Apply software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve value at scale.
• Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations through data-driven decision-making.
• Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in specific areas of technical focus.
• Advocate for firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices within the broader engineering community.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs and outputs.
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
• Practical cloud-native experience.
• Experience working in large-scale, distributed systems within a regulated financial services or enterprise environment (preferred).
