As a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Fullstack within Global Finance Technology, you will join an agile team to build and deliver secure, scalable, and market-leading technology products. You will develop high-quality production code, review peer contributions, and provide technical direction to teams, contractors, and vendors. Key responsibilities include driving the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices, leading communities of practice, and managing project delivery risks. You will utilize a technical stack including Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, JPA, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. Required skills encompass Object-Oriented Design, Test Driven Development, and experience with JUnit, Mockito, Playwright, and Cucumber. You will also manage CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, Jenkins, and SonarQube while ensuring security standards like OAuth and TLS are met.
Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Drive the adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish measurable validation standards for secure coding, peer reviews, and automated testing within the SDLC.
Coach and develop a high-performing team of technologists across local and remote environments.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials.

Lead communities of practice to drive the awareness and use of leading-edge technologies across Software Engineering.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
2+ years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within a domain of expertise.
10+ years of experience building enterprise-grade software products.
Expertise in Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA (OR) Python and relevant microservices frameworks.
Expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, React, and popular UI test frameworks.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design, Test Driven Development, and automation frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Playwright, and Cucumber.
Experience with event-driven processing using Kafka or other AMQP frameworks and building CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.
Proficiency in Agentic AI Coding assistance and experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
