JOB TITLE: Senior Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack
The Senior Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack joins the AI Harness Engineering team to lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers. You will design and implement AI-native software engineering harnesses, building agentic workflow orchestration systems that support planning, code generation, and validation. Key responsibilities include defining typed input/output contracts, developing trace capture and observability capabilities, and integrating evaluation results into CI/CD workflows. You will utilize JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, alongside Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools. This role solves the business problem of enabling governed AI-native software delivery by creating tools and release controls that allow engineering teams to use approved models with enterprise-grade quality and traceability.
Lead a team of developers to build distributed microservices and full-stack systems that meet regulatory needs.
Design and implement AI-native software engineering harnesses using approved models and coding agents.
Build agentic workflow orchestration systems for planning, code generation, validation, and controlled promotion.
Define typed input/output contracts and schemas to make agentic execution auditable and repeatable.
Develop trace capture, observability, and debugging capabilities for AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Integrate evaluation results into CI/CD workflows, including quality gates for security and performance.
Build reusable APIs, services, and developer tooling to enable consistent adoption of AI-native practices.
Write architecture proposals, design documents, and technical guidance to scale harness engineering patterns.
What we're looking for
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Master’s Degree (preferred).
9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go (preferred).
4+ years of experience utilizing open-source frameworks to build production-grade applications (preferred).
4+ years of experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, containers, Kubernetes, serverless platforms, or event-driven systems using AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure (preferred).
2+ years of experience with CI/CD, automated testing, quality gates, developer productivity platforms, or observability frameworks (preferred).
