What you'll do

Lead application systems analysis and programming activities to implement new or revised systems.
Identify and define system enhancements to support new product deployments and process improvements.
Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business processes, system workflows, and industry standards.
Ensure all application designs adhere to the established architecture blueprint and technical standards.
Establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards for the development team.
Serve as a coach and advisor to mid-level developers while managing work distribution.
Assess risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
6 to 10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role.
Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex/global environment.
8+ years of experience with Java (Core, J2EE, Spring Boot), Python, Web services, XML, JavaScript, and Microservices.
3+ years of experience with Big Data technologies including Apache Spark, Hive, Hadoop, and Storm.
Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of containerization/cloud tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, HBase, Cassandra).
Proven ability to communicate clearly, work in a matrix environment, and manage projects under pressure.
