The Senior Systems Engineer, Vulnerability Management joins the infrastructure team to lead enterprise security posture and regulatory compliance readiness. This hands-on role involves planning and executing security patches across Linux, Windows, cloud, and hybrid environments while overseeing the full vulnerability lifecycle from initial alert to closure verification. The engineer will build and improve patch automation using scripting, configuration management, and orchestration tools like AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager, Ansible, and PowerShell. Key responsibilities include developing KPIs, maintaining Standard Operating Procedures, and ensuring audit readiness for GxP, SOX, and data integrity requirements. What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of systems engineering or administration experience.
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of systems engineering or administration experience.
8+ years of a relevant combination of technical education, certifications, training, and systems engineering experience.
Experience in enterprise Linux and/or Windows server environments including security patching, vulnerability remediation, automation, or IT compliance.
Hands-on experience administering enterprise systems and developing automation for patch deployment using scripting or configuration management tools.
Experience with cloud and hybrid patch/automation tooling including AWS Systems Manager (SSM) Patch Manager and Azure equivalents.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as GxP, SOX, or data integrity requirements.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, RHCE, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or ITIL Foundation (preferred).
