What you'll do

  • Manage the end-to-end vulnerability remediation lifecycle for Linux, Windows, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement automated patch management workflows using scripting and configuration management tools.
  • Translate cybersecurity policies into technical controls and establish KPIs to measure risk remediation progress.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure audit readiness and compliant change management.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between Cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and Compliance teams to operationalize security requirements.
  • Coordinate large-scale patching activities across network, cloud, and systems engineering teams to minimize production impact.
  • Maintain an evidence repository of change records and access reviews for internal and external audits.
  • Advise on the selection of risk-based technical controls that balance security with operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4+ years of experience, a Master's with 2+ years, or 8+ years of combined education and experience is required.
  • Candidates must have experience in enterprise Linux and Windows server environments including security patching and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience developing automation for patch deployment using scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) or configuration management tools is required.
  • Proficiency with cloud and hybrid infrastructure tools such as AWS Systems Manager (SSM), Azure, WSUS, SCCM/Intune, and Ansible is required.
  • Knowledge of change management frameworks like ITIL and experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow are required.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks including GxP, SOX, and data integrity requirements is required.
  • Ability to develop SOPs, work instructions, and audit-ready documentation for technology operations is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, RHCE, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or ITIL Foundation are preferred.
