Senior IT Business Data Analyst - Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) - Hybrid will join the Market Analytics team to design and deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready data solutions. The successful candidate will utilize Python, SQL, Teradata, and Databricks to modernize legacy platforms and manage data lineage. This position requires deep domain knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Management and the ability to solve complex data challenges within highly regulated environments while ensuring strict data security and chain-of-custody controls.

What you'll do

Design and deliver enterprise-scale, cloud-native data pipelines and curated datasets for business and regulatory needs.
Engineer secure, auditable, and defensible data extracts for high-risk legal and compliance use cases.
Build and maintain scalable ELT and ETL workflows across enterprise and cloud analytics platforms.
Establish best practices for data engineering, including automation, testing, monitoring, and governance.
Manage data security, lineage, retention, and chain-of-custody controls for sensitive datasets.
Lead enterprise data modernization initiatives by migrating legacy platforms to cloud-based environments.
Serve as a senior escalation point for complex data engineering, platform, and risk-related challenges.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 10 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or advanced analytics roles.
Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions.
Strong hands-on expertise with Teradata, Python, SQL coding, Databricks, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
Prior PBM/PBS experience and/or knowledge.
Proven experience building secure, auditable data pipelines supporting legal, regulatory, or compliance requirements.
Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage, and documentation practices.
Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
