Senior Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the design and construction of PLC-based control systems for HVAC, Exhaust, UPW, and IWT systems.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with NFPA, ISA, IEC, and local regulatory codes.
• Interpret and enforce Samsung design standards, specifications, and performance criteria.
• Verify that Engineer of Record (EOR) designs are technically correct and align with owner expectations.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the owner and the EOR for all I&C design matters.
• Provide expert input during HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL assessments to ensure proper implementation.
• Evaluate proposed design changes to identify potential impacts on functionality, safety, and cost.

What we're looking for

• 6 to 8 years of experience in instrumentation and control design engineering.
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic engineering, or related fields.
• Expertise with industry standards and codes including ISA, IEC, NEC, and NFPA.
• Proven I&C design skills in instrumentation selection, PLC systems, and industrial network architecture.
• Software experience with CAD, Navisworks, Revit, Siemens TIA portal, and DCS platforms.
• PE, PMP, or ISA CCS certifications are advantageous (preferred).
