What you'll do

Own the full lifecycle of core self-hosted developer tools including patching, upgrades, and backups.
Design and implement automated systems for infrastructure scaling and maintenance.
Manage environments and infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
Operate and troubleshoot systems using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Define and maintain SLOs for service availability, reliability, and performance.
Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability for developer tool services.
Lead incident response efforts and perform root cause analysis for critical services.

What we're looking for

Experience operating infrastructure outside of managed cloud services, including bare-metal Kubernetes and on-prem virtualization.
Experience operating production systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong foundational knowledge of Linux distributions such as RHEL and Ubuntu.
Proficiency with at least one cloud platform, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience managing infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or OpenTofu.
Experience with configuration management tooling such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Scripting or software development experience in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
