Senior IAM Engineer M&A

What you'll do

• Lead the technical onboarding and identity integration of newly acquired entities into AbbVie systems.
• Design and implement identity federation and trust models across multiple domains and forests.
• Drive the migration of users, devices, and applications from legacy environments to standardized platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline provisioning and deprovisioning during M&A transitions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on identity architecture during due diligence and post-merger integration.
• Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to implement secure identity designs.
• Maintain and improve M&A identity playbooks and standards to reduce risk and technical friction.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience, Master’s Degree with 5 years’ experience, or a PhD.
• Experience in an information security role, ideally as a Security Engineer.
• Direct experience with M&A, divestitures, or multi-company collaborations.
• Proficiency in Active Directory and related security constructs including domains, forests, and trusts.
• Experience with Cloud Identity Providers supporting SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and collaboration tools like M365, GSuite, and Slack.
• Knowledge of identity and access governance policies, including least-privilege and lifecycle management.
• Relevant certifications such as SANS, AWS, or specific identity-focused credentials.
