Senior Hardware Engineer, Network Technology and Design

What you'll do

• Lead hardware development for wired connectivity technology including SerDes and Ethernet-based network solutions.
• Perform detailed hardware analysis for signal integrity, power integrity, and worst-case scenarios.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root cause analysis to implement long-term solutions across ECUs.
• Develop hardware requirements and test specifications for connectivity and supporting circuitry.
• Create a comprehensive test strategy from component-level validation through production readiness.
• Lead bench test execution including bring-up, characterization, and debugging of prototype hardware.
• Manage technology roadmaps in collaboration with industry leaders and semiconductor partners.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure high-quality, manufacturable designs that meet safety and reliability targets.

What we're looking for

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science.
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
• 5+ total years of engineering experience at an OEM, semiconductor supplier, or Tier 1 ECU supplier.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in electronic hardware design and development.
• Working knowledge of automotive electronic hardware and automotive software architecture.
• Strong proficiency in circuit design, schematic creation, and PCB layout.
• Experience in hardware design tools such as Mentor Graphics Xpedition and ORCAD.
• Experience with lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
